Yeah, you can summon that Eater of Worlds boss at a demon altar or by smashing a shadow orb (1/3) chance i think it was when you smash the orb.
I built a giant dirt tower up about 500 feet, then across by about 550 blocks in an attempt to find a floating island, no luck there but hopefully this thing catches loads of stars

If you have rocket boots too it completes the experience. I remember last night Deathly was running around in that setup on Canary's server being all iron man and fucking shit up everywhere. Was awesome

thats a demon altar you can make certain items with it like worm bait to summon Eater of Worlds boss.

It's a demon altar, hit it with a hammer to pick it up and take it home.
I cracked a shadow orb and it said "eater of worlds have awakened" and i was like "wut cant i atleast get out of this chasm first"? and the narration is like "lolno"
died and the fucker came all the way to my spawn and i bought tons of shurikens and pwnd him to death.
