Definitely needs server tools. And a lot of small things. Scrolling for the chat box, /who command to see who's on and other commands, banning and kicking obviously etcetera.
Also, what's the best way to play LAN? Just set up a server like normal?

Well, i cannot get obsidian, as everytime i release a body of water onto laval, the lava engulfs it and makes no obsidian.

I have two rooms spare, I know they fit the requirements because they are the same as the other 3 occupied rooms I have, but I still don't have a demolitions man or arms dealer. I have bombs, had TNT until recently (used it to blow up some ebonstone), and now have a musket, what am I missing?
God i hate those situations where you just want to get somewhere without wasting time fighting, then 10 enemies spawn and kill you while you just try to get past them

More water is required. Basically, just make a pool, keep getting water, then drain the pool off onto a surface of lava, profit.

There's an obsidian farm design on the wiki, I tried it but the body of water I was using was deceptively shallow so it didn't all get used, gonna try again with more water later
any servers? the ones at terraria online forums are either shut down, dont work, or hamachi required.

Should be able to turn Water into Obsidian if you touch it while wearing Molten Armor. Whatever part of the water you touch turns to it. That way you won't be in the water and then encased in the stuff
