There's now an un-"official" wiki set up by the terrariaonline muppets.
I bought the game.

I didn't even find any iron until recently

Wonder what could be ontop of this naturally formed wall of dirt
Before I buy :
- Are there any portals to other worlds or is the whole world contained in one map (I don't know how to explain this, but if you keep going down would you reach the lava zones with the skeletons and stuff that I have seen in screenshots)?
- Is the game 'difficult' in a frustrating way? Are the enemies nice and balanced, or does it feel like you've been robbed when you die?
- Are there NPC villages, or does everything have to be built by you?
- How does building towns and stuff work, do you have to build each building, or do the NPCs build their own, or what
- How 'high' can you go (I would want to make a REALLY high tower if I could)
- How easy is it to get building materials?
- Is there anything amazing that I should know about?
Wow, this game is addicting.

- Yes, it's one huge map.
- Can be sometimes, usually it's pretty balanced.
- You have to build houses, then NPCs moves in.
- You have to build a room for each NPC you want.
- Really high, it ends way far up.
- It's really easy to get stone and wood, which is what you build with. Bricks might be a little harder, but that's for later in the game.
- Dunno really, bosses?
Awesome for answering my questions! One last one then I'll shut up, I promise.
Does the digging and putting materials down aspect work like minecraft?
This fucking game is immense. I just travelled miles across the map to collect god damn stars at night and forgot to ditch my money in a chest. Lost a gold coin and loads of silver coins.
I just built you a house merchant, god damn you! I am addicted.

-No portals to other worlds but you character and their entire inventory/piggy bank transfers to any other world single or multiplayer.
-I've been to every zone in the game and I haven't encountered anything I would consider frustrating. Sometimes the imps in the hellworld can be annoying but flooding hell before entering it makes it easy.
-No npc villages, everything must be built by you. Various npcs will come and inhabit your buildings such as a merchant, demolitionist and arms dealer.
-How high you can go depends on your map size, but on a large map you can go up really really high.
-Getting building materials hasn't been a problem for me.
Just started playing and don't really got much. Looking for some people to play online with over skype(high868) or vent.
Fucking Terraria, I waited forever for Honest Hearts to come out and I haven't even installed it yet cause I can't stop playing.
Would someone be so kind as to rehost the map viewer? The download wont work for me.
This game is orgasmic
any servers?
Wow, just defeated The Eye of Cthulhu only using my Enchanted Boomerang seconds from day and without any potions left.

Waiting for updates while we play will so much fun. I can't wait for the next one.

Love how half of the pages are filled with nothing at all, just statistics that the game tells you. (HP)

Okay, thank you.

Hell they haven't even done the armour properly, they don't tell you the actual armour rating unless they feel like it.
I've got eater of the worlds warning, but I guess he wont spawn unless I go into corruption?
Anyone got a link to the Terraria encryptor & decryptor (latest preferrably)
