You can make some guns.
The "base" guns like the musket, minishark, and handgun cannot be crafted. However, you can often use those to craft better guns like the Phoenix Blaster.

You can only find them in shadow orbs, or gain them from killing goblins.
Shadow orbs are in the very deep holes in the corruption and goblins come during the goblin invasion

The point was, we told you to either make a new character or please leave. It's supposed to be a new world with no unfair advantages. Maybe if you didn't ignore everybody and not follow the server rules we wouldn't bitch.

If you haven't found corruption pits then you haven't explored your world yet. They aren't just deep caves, they're massive chasms that go almost straight down.

Bed has to be in a room with a light source and back wall. You have to right click it and it will say "Spawn point set!" on screen. If it doesn't say that, you haven't met the requirements for the room yet.
Yeah so I always assumed that zombies could eventually break down doors (come on, you can see bits flying off of the door when they hit it) so I made redundant doors everywhere in my house/mine to slow any surprise zombies down. Antechambers everywhere :v:

Also I spent a day ingame going each direction (so 12/15 minutes left and 12/15 minutes right) and found no good caves no no corruption. Its weird.
