I keep getting this weird error when I try to join someone in multiplayer, I don't know what it says because the text goes off screen but here's a screen anyway. I found a chasm with three demon altars, a shadow orb, and a chest that had a magic mirror, dynamite, potions, torches, and some money. :gizz:

I'm scared to say I like Terraria more than Minecraft. There is like 500% more shit. If Minecraft had this much stuff it would be one of the best games I've ever played.

I had the same issue and all I needed to do was add Terraria.exe to my firewall and allow access.

Did anyone have .NEt framework problems when trying to open Terraria? I have the required version but it says I don't :/

I went into this underwater tunnel, quickly losing breath. Bam, chest on the floor containing the Flipper. Made my escape upwards and out at the other side. Now that's convenient.

How do I break the material that the corruption chasms are made off? My gold pickaxe doesn't seem to work.

It'd be useful to have a backpack accessory that doubles your inventory or something. I always find myself with a full inventory. but yeah, just pounded it out with Mattyyy for pretty much 6 hours. We found some good stuff, killed a boss and got 3 meteorites to land. I'm pretty much addicted to this game.

Got a quick question about mining. I tend to go around looking for a cave and adventure through that stuff. Is it easier to be near my house and make a mine shaft or something? I figure walking around just to find a cave is a bit tedious. I don't really think about that kind of stuff.

Do I need to dig to the absolute bottom of the map?[/QUOTE] You use demonite ore and shadow scales to make a Nightmare Pickaxe (kill the Eater of Worlds and/or Eye of Cthulhu), for Molten you need Hellstone, which is found in the Underworld.
