The building/destroying of blocks, and a few crafting recipes are similar. Oh and you can use pickaxes, bows, swords, and armor (and a lot more equipment, but those are some items that Minecraft has as well).

Thanks, that advice worked beautifully. I made a giant multi-tier platform of wood, platforms and torches and threw the things at him while sucking down potions. I'll get him next time without a doubt.
What weapon should I use on eye of cthulhu:
Starfury?
Vilethorn?
Space Gun?

All right, after fighting with the world and discovering a wonderfully rich tunnel system I find myself at an impasse: I've got all gold weapons and tools, and recently blew up a chaos orb with dynamite and got a musket, and I don't know how to progress further.
I mean the eye of gaythulu keeps harassing me on occasion, but the best I can do is hold my own until morning comes around. I don't have weapons with enough stopping power.
My best was my enchanted boomerang, but now it seems to be my musket with only 20 shots left.
I'm also broke now as most of my mining expeditions ended with my death.
I located the skeletron base as well, but got slaughtered as soon as they realize I was there.
In my main mine I have gotten so deep I'm now fighting several fire imps at once at an absurd spawn rate.
Seriously, I must have taken down at least 8 with my shitty boomerang chipping away at 3 damage per hit while facing down numerous black blobs, mother blobs, and skeletons as well. Then I get overwhelmed and die.
I've got 400 health plus 2 spare crystals, but I just dont have the damage output I need to put a dent in some of the tougher and more interesting creatures in the world of terraria.
How do you make purification powder ? fucking tnt always leaves that one block :argh:

I have to make a run across some Corruption in order to get gear. I have no armor, so I'm just gonna craft hundreds of arrows to keep the Soul Eaters at bay while I run like a madman.

Anyone else notice that when you click out of the window to pause the game in single player at night, everything freezes, yet the stars keep twinkling in the backdrop? Pretty cool.

I have no other choice, the typing your default gateway into the browser does not work for me.
No matter what I do, forwarding my ports fails. It never works for me. Anything that tries to to connect to it times out.
Anyone? I thought I saw it in a video where they grabbed the sun and dragged it down to the horizon and made it night.

I beat 3 eye of cthulhus in a row with only 200 health or so.
It's all about the potions and not sucking at the game :v:

Stop whining, if you don't want to use hamatchi just ignore the post and don't join. Hamatchi isn't a problem for some people.
