Map has to be in a sub folder of the instance folder (mapsrc) and you might have to restart hammer to get them initially working.
Gah, I imported my voice line in to the game, did snd_rebuildaudiocache, then I compile the map and the turret which is supposed to fall and yell 'HELP ME' didn't fall. I made a func_physbox that the turret sat on top of and set it to break upon a certain trigger, and it didn't work.

Actually they don't work and they bug out my map >_< Guess i'm gonna have to go for a metal texture and sign post it well enough. Tried reflective glass too, OH GOD THE CRASHING. Guess they aren't compatible with portals
Does SetPlaybackRate not work on the LivingArm entity? I've got an animation I want to go rapidly and I can't get the thing to work properly. I'm using the same trigger that triggers the arm animation with an extra output calling SetPlaybackRate. I've tried arguments of 3, 3.0, and 3.0f (because on the Valve dev wiki, the only mentions of it have an argument of 1.0f) but none of them have done anything. Is there any other way to make an animation play back faster?

I'm pretty sure that's the case and if it is you could just decompile it and with some proper care recreate the overgrown style.

It was a wheatley chamber it just didn't have the turrets in it

There's a filter you can use in the texture browser, if you set it to "chamber" it will bring up clean and dirty modern chamber textures.
