Someone's got to create a website for these maps, kind of like websites like L4Dmaps, where people can have a convenient place to find maps.

I compile my P2 map yesterday and it works fine, today I try and compile the same unedited vmf. and it gives me leaks through solid geometry. Great.

it's been less than a week.. less than 20 have got to be made. Compare that with the shit-trillions of CS:S and HL2 maps.
So I started mapping now and I have only one question: where can I find the laser beam shooter? I can only find the catcher and the relay.

They're parented together, but the brush doesn't move when the panel model moves.

I was actually disappointed with the low amount of crushers in the game. I can't wait to see custom maps with lots of crushers that require momentum :buddy:
Hammer is the biggest load of unstable shit ever. Unless you're saving every 5 minutes you're sure to lose something.

You can change the autosave interval in settings
I have it set to 5 mins, and i still lose things

I've made a few custom maps but anything to do with gel makes the game crash. Anyone know if I'm not doing something that I should be doing?
OP, the way you've written the tutorial, makes it seems like you want to extract the models folder from inside the materials folder. (Not sure if this folder exists in Portal 2 but it does in Half-Life 2).
Could you change that to avoid confusion?
