• How to create Portal 2 maps

Hey guys Ive made a custom CC would any of you like to use it in your maps? Screens, it removes the yellowish fog and gives the game a more gray/blue tint. Hey just curious, why do you recommend people use a point_servercommand rather than a weapon_portalgun inside the player spawn? Is there some sort of efficiency thing going on there?

Yup, I've got the P2 .fgd and I've put it in the AS SDK, and I've also extracted the models/materials and used the .bat to convert the models, but all the prefabs/entities for things like AFPs and Excursion Funnels come up as black/pink checkers. And as mentioned before, I can't spawn a Portal Gun. A lot of it works; I can put new P2 textures on the walls and stuff, but I can't seem to spawn any of the prefabs I've got.

Did a couple different edits to the cc. Top is default, bottom 2 are different edits. Map is from SP obviously I dont make maps. If you want the files or the effect changed send me a PM and Ill work on it. If you want to use the CC youll have to apply it in hammer to your level, I can make other CCs if you need/want them with different effects. If you want to try it out put -tools in your launch options for Portal 2, load a level, then open console and type colorcorrectionui and youll be able to do a bunch of edits. When you save it youll be given 2 files, a vcc for future editing, and a .raw which is what you apply in hammer. Works pretty well and you can apply about as many CCs as you want to a level, different rooms using different raw files.
