• How to create Portal 2 maps

Here's some features I think should be added into the SDK when it officially releases: -Linking two portals by different players (so each player shoots one portal and they're linked) -[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcdH56mGYmA#t=36s]The TAG paint gun: Left click shoots paint, right click shoots water, changing weapons changes paint selected.[/url] Weapon switch keys would have to be implemented and a model would have to be made, but I think it would be worth it. -The turret reskins shown in that one promotional video -Clean versions of the Aperture innovations textures/models
Guys, Its funny because. The bonus maps gui resource file is still present. Either Valve got lazy and forgot to remove it or they plan to add it in the future.

I've realized that I don't have the patience for this :v:, I'll just make a few portal 1 chambers until the sdk comes out.

I found the model cleanser but I can't do much with that. Until now I created a brush and gave it the fizzler material. What I don't know to do is to make it passable and give it a function that when a player goes thru it clears all portals or objects. ok thanks I found it sorry for reply :D

Now ingame the fizzler material is not appearing. Before it worked. I've tried almost every fizler material. + objects don't disappear passing it. What am i doing wrong? EDIT: Here's my map: [url]http://gamver.webs.com/new.rar[/url] (it's where i try things :D)
Yay. Got a map up and compiling without problems!
I finally got a working door. I can't get the prefab working though :S Does anyone know how I get the prefab working, because it would save me lots of time.

That Fizzler Tutorial misses out the fizzling Cubes and stuff. If you want that (which you do) tick Everthing in Flags. I was going to add it to the wiki, but I forgot my password.
Gah, I just added a few entities and now i have a leak but no pointfile :(

What am I doing wrong?

When I put the Portal on the wall by the funnel, it closes stuff off and closes by other Portal, thusly I cannot get the Cube to keep the thing panels down. If I step off the button, the panels go up, but the Portal stays, so I can go to where your panels are! Fixed it but does anyone have an idea why Hammer insists on crashing after i run Portal 2

After seeing your new post , i still don't understand what you mean. I went through it as many times to make sure that nothing can be done to skip forward the puzzle. Doesn't matter if you make new portals , it doesn't affect how you finish the puzzle.
I create a brush, apply the fizzler material, compile, go in game and the material shows > go back to hammer add the trigger_portal_cleanser, compile, go in game and now the brush is blank, transparent. What is happening?
