Can someone help me, I have done everything in OP, made a simple room with a player start some Portal 2 props, a light and a Seal. Tried to compile will Alldetail turned off and I get this error: (I saved to desktop for ease of access, but i get the same error anywhere)

The map doesn't save as a .BSP
I have no leaks as far as i know either
Actually that's not an error. It's just information about that process. It should continue normally.

Oh, but it says it is? And where does my BSP go if it isn't on my desktop with the VMF, it's not in the swarm maps folder or anywhere. I'm quite confused

I suspect that your game configurations aren't entered correctly or whatever.

Argh! I have a rendering problem in a very long room... from one side of the room, if I look back across from a certain distance or greater, it looks like the opposite wall is made of nodraw! >< Anyone know how to fix it?
EDIT: The room is about 3840 units long, the walls stop rendering from about 2500 units.

You get an error reading the .bsp file. That's probably because it does not exist.

Thank you very much! Turns out i had Unticked the path with Alldetail, instead of just removing it from the line. I guess I misunderstood that. It saved now!
Edit: One more question, I only have one light in my room but the whole room *quite large* is fully illuminated. What was the command line to remove that?
How the hell do i get the skybox to work? Just shows up as a really bright white box ingame.

When using a 3d skybox I had to make the skybox around the level a structure seal and a seperate structure seal around the 3d skybox for it to work

Try using lightspots instead of normal lights

Yeah but i'm using a 2d skybox.
You should also remove radius_override from vvis. It forces maximum draw distance of 2500 units, so without fog it causes rendering errors.

You can make panels, but the arm models are made by Valve.

Anyone know the model name fore the shredders? I've been trying to find it for like 15 mins
you can find it by decompiling an original map where shredders are in.
I only started using hammer like 2 days ): I have no clue how to decompile and in anycase i don't recall a level they actually used it

I got a weird problem with that elevator prefab. It gives me a leak on a place were there is no texture.

Uhh, what about that box sticking out of your nodraw?
oops, forgot to remove that one xD. In the console it reported func_portal_bumper as a leak, so I searched for that, and tried sealing it off. That didn't do a thing.
EDIT: Updated the screenie and vmf, so my failed attempts at fixing the leak are gone again
I think SDK must have achievments too!
"You mad" - 10 hours in SDK without pauses
"For science" - make 50 maps
"That just happed" - Having crash and map isn't saved
"Space? SPACE!" - Having leak in ceiling
"You think this funny?" - Having too much details

You can try to make it limited - kinda spraying for 10 seconds and after you need press buttong again if played need

Have you tried "Onpressed - disable"?
I'm just guessing, but it might work - give it a try.
