When i make a Structure Seal, is it meant to wrap itself tightly around the shape of the map, or just stay a box shape.
Because i looked at other peoples maps and the seal alot different to mine

Oh thank you! That got rid of my leak. I read it from the VDC wiki that said you must make a seal before compiling. Guess it doesn't count for portal?
Does anyone know what are the minimal requirements for the SDK? My PC broke and I was wondering if I could use my netbook to do some basic mapping (no ingame testing obv).

Try using a different light entity
I did :/ like i said i used every type of light entity, spot light, direction, normal light.. the works

some times you get that shit when you played your map in full bright before. turn mat_fullbright 0. hope that was the solution :D

Aww sorry, that was too late. We're done. It was pretty good I have to say. Made us think for a few minutes then at the end (When I was at the exit door and my friend had to make it) he just couldn't make it to the panel unless he placed himself correctly on the plate. Don't know if that's intended or not. Also, my friends reports and misplaced texture at the exit hallway. We did it and found the cube. We then tried to figure if there was anything to do with the cube and jumped into the void in vain.
It was a really good WIP map though. Loved the classical music and how it used reflex/timing to get through.
Gonna add the fact that you can go through the panels when you portal around, so that kinds of need to be fixed. (If the panels are placed against the ground or against the wall, and you're coming out from another portal, you'll go through.)

I actually figured out what i did wrong. I was just default compiling, not FULL compiling. I swear i didn't have to do that in Portal 1. Anyway, thanks for all the help you guys. Sorry for being an idiot

Ah well, thanks for the feedback though. I'm going to fix the exit, the ceiling needs to be a little bit higher. The second chamber is still WIP, the first one is finished, just need to give it more detail, lighting and polish.
