I know this has probably been asked and answered a hundred times in this thread but can someone give me a quick rundown of what needs to be done to compile.
I think you have to compile in expert, remove -alldetail and seal the map the way they do it in Alien Swarm right?

If its only indoor without any openings don't put a skybox or anything otherwise yes

Hi another question, Is it possible to adjust the brightness of the cool light texture? I got it looking nice in my map but it's way too bright.

Woo! First Portal 2 map. Sort of. It needs some stuff to make it work, and the crushers aren't even animated.
The lighting is kind of crappy looking, not very colorful or interesting to look at, but it's a work in progress.

I was thinking about recreating the challenge at the end of the co-op video. If I were to make a decent sized set of chambers it would probably be at the end.

Also another question, is anyone having issues with their propulsion gel, or any gel for that matter, flying sideways? It seems that whenever I place the entity in my map and use it in game it doesn't fall straight down, it just goes sideways and splatters on the inside of the tube.
You have to set the Pitch Yaw Roll of your gel to 90 0 0 (down). Derp.
Also, has anyone figured out info_placement_helper?

Any time you shoot a portal near the info_placement_helper the portal will always land on the entity.
You have to place on a wall btw.

You just place the info_placement_helpers down where you want portals to snap-to and it will automatically do it, no changing settings or anything unless you want to.

I think you should add a light entity to the start of the map. The flickering shadow looks weird.
The moving panels you currently use after you fling yourself honestly don't look very good. Try using some of the panel models (usually named 'arm' or something like that).

There is most likely some entity with it's origen outside of the map. Select everything, enable helpers and look for a white circle in the 2D view.

I tried that already, but nothing comes up. Maybe someone else found out what causes it (it's in standard elevator prefab on the wiki).

You just use the lighttexture, and place a light entity (lightspot forexample), or you use a prefab from the wiki.
Pls someone make me a prefab of a fizzler. I would be great full.
