Ugh i have a problem with hammer.
I was just broswing the world models for a prop, and exited the window and went back into it and now nothing is showing up any folder, so i can't place any new props in my map even if i restart :/
What on earth is the problem? The models i currently have aren't showing any errors in my map and compile fine

I've already encoutered that and as you can see, I don't have any problems with that.
I am having some problems scaling and shifting the fizzler material. I need to shift it x:512 and y:256 and scale it to 0.125, but after applying, the scale rounds to 0.13 and the shifts go back to 0. WTF?
I cant find weapon_portalgun ... I can only find other weapons, like pistol, shotgun and some shit.. :S
Can anyone tell me how a can import the portalgun into Hammer?

I recompiled the scenes.image with Portal and Portal 2 VCD files do you guys want it or no?
If you add Portal files to Portal 2 with the new scenes.image the maps work pretty much flawlessly.

Add the VCD files from Portal to scenes, extract the scenes folder from the Portal 2 pak01_dir and put it in same directory. Setup Alien Swarm to mount Portal 2 files, open Faceposer, and recompile scenes.image.
Worked flawlessly. Also edited my gameinfo and setup a secondary directory for Portal and that seems to be working perfectly too.
Why is that if I compile my fizzlers material shift goes back to 0 and it does not work. Help pls my fizzlers look like shit.

If you use the prop version of the world portal then it should help some. The prop version is basicly just a world portal linked with a door. The world portal will only be open when the door is open so you can easily limit them just by having the door shut. I had an interesting idea for a map using these things. I thought how a single door could lead to different places depending on the button you pressed.

You might not be doing it right. Only took me one try and it worked instantly.
Since the Portal 2 SDK is not out you [B]HAVE[/B] to use Alien Swarm tools.
A little question,how to add "mini-musics" to the propulsion gel or the aerial faith plate (when you run on it or trigger it in the game it play a short music) ?
It add an ambiance to the game and that awesome !

Fizzler textures don't shift for anyone. Align your fizzler to the world. Scale should stay at 0.125 if you don't try to shift it.

My username is just my initials. However you could give it some sort of french/spanish taint and call me El Jadèpè.
edit:
They're meant to be used as instances, not prefabs. If you try to use them as prefabs each one will have the same name for entities.
