I don't know. I like Opposing Force for the gameplay and weapons, but I prefer Half-Life for the story and scenario.
Half-Life and Opposing Force
Aw Yeah! That nuke map was so classic at LANs. It is always so amusing hearing they scream "I'm going to make it!" and then they get squished by the door :v:
The best thing was to press the nuke button or let a buddy do it, and then man one or both of those cannons and kill every other person on the server trying to get to safety :v:. That or snipe them from out of those bunkers inside.
i would have to say Opposing Force.
I enjoyed Blue Shift alot more than HL1, Opposing Force would come right after BS
Opposing Force. It had new aliens, varied levels, adjustable spanners...:allears:
I liked Half-Life the most, but to be honest, my favourite expansion is Blue Shift. Why? Because it had actual characters, people with names, who interacted with you in a way other than "I'LL JUST WAIT HERE", like Dr. Rosenberg and Walter Bennet, and the ending was pretty awesome.
Half-Life.
I really like decay but the no save thing really pisses me off sometimes. also: the original will always be the best
Opposing Force, but not by much over the Original. Never finished Decay, and I felt Blue Shift was lacking.
To be very blunt, BS was BS.
As it's not included, I'll still Vote for Uplink. It had a gameplay feel that HL1 Lacked. Secondly followed by Opposing Force and Decay. Thirdly, Half-Life and Blue Shift. If it was any GoldSrc game I'd have said Gunman Chronicles however.
Blue shift :saddowns:
They were all good! My favorite though is Opposing Force... It was one of the first games which actually allowed you to play the perspective of the enemy.
Blue Shit. Shift. I mean shift. Yeah I suck.
Opposing Force. Since I suck at jumping, Xen levels in HL are simply nightmares.
The thing about OF is you don't really play as the enemy. Though, your group is sent to kill Freeman, you never go out of your way to do so. Survival is the objective, not killing Gordon.

OpFor, mostly because of the superior multiplayer.

Stuck between Op4 and the original Half-Life.
OpFor has the best Training Map. It was so good that I probably have played it 100 times.
HL1 but OpFor is one of my favorites. [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Oh shit, I never noticed that Full Metal Jacket reference.
