Its 3d and a bit top down now.
Dead Frontier is currently being made to 3D as we speak. I don't know if there's a playable version out yet but it is being developed.

That's just a fuckton of reskinned Feral Ghouls spawning everywhere.
Road to Fiddler's Green had a ton of custom maps that were enormous, like 30 whole city blocks, and people still play online, at least 10 full servers last time I played a month ago. It's probably like 5$ on ebay, and it's certainly a scary game at times.
