Anyway, the infected still aren't showing up in the editor.
When I do finish the mission, how do I enter the game?
Nothing beats mowing down zombies in a Spitfire.
Goddamn, never thought I'd get to fly a P-38 Lightning in Arma!
Now I need to know how to do 2 things:
How do I make the infected rush my checkpoint, and how do I enable that ambient civilian code that was posted above, I entered them into the boxes but they wouldn't do anything.
F7 -> Modules -> Place an Ambient Civilian module and enter that in the "initialization" field.
Says "Type Array, expected Nothing"
I made a new Mission. Basically it's a Evacuation Center in the middle of a city waiting for the Helicopter.

Wow that looks laggy as fuck.
Can you upload the mission?

oh you can? I thought it said it didn't. I never bothered
This mod is pretty useless if you don't know how to use the editor.
oh you can? I thought it said it didn't. I never bothered
It isn't supported, but it still mostly works. The only differences I've noticed is that zombies migrate less, and the infected zones don't appear on the map.

It's extremely simple, if you can't figure out the editor, you probably won't figure out the game either.
:ohdear: My zombies have started spawning halfway in the ground.
Also, in the editor, how do you set vehicles to spawn without anyone in them?

Will do.

In the Team menu choose "Empty"
this also lets you place barricades, ammo boxes and other structures.

I also found you can use the 3D editor in combination with the 2D one, build a base in 3D. Then execute the mission.sqf file in the 2D mission, and you would import the objects.

I've been playing the game ever since it came out, don't assume too much, douchebag.

Also, when it comes to people giving vague codes to put in unspecified places, you would get confused too.

Now why did you have to call me a doucebag?
I just got the game today, and I got a zombie invasion set up in like 5 minutes.

You were given decent instructions and the correct code, you are doing something wrong. If you can't follow This and get it to work, then you're going to need a Launcher like ArmA II Launch.

In every thread.
Most mods for ArmA2 are useless if you don't know how to use the editor, that's why a lot of mods come with example missions to show you how to use them.
I did the Ambient Civilian module with the code you said but no or very few civillians spawn for me :(
If you go in a Helicopter, you'll see a load of blips, sometimes the civvies are inside buildings.
I stuck two GMCs and a mortar to a bus.
Que the aggressive rock music.

It's because he is pretty dim.
Yep see loads of blips no civs though still
I always kill all of the zombies with 1-2 squadmates left with no ammo and wind up being surprise infected by them when they die and comeback to life, damn.
I love this mod, I have done so many things that I have always wanted to do, like plowing through a group of zombies with a helicopter and a jet.

You have the civilian module on?
Ninja'd
Yep
http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Ambient_Civilians
Might yield useful information.
BIS_loc_acityc_kozlovka setvariable ["ALICE_forcePopulation",true];
is the example command, it might only have a radius of the object you put it in, reading from the example, what i can tell is that it's telling ALICE to populate the city of Kozlovka.
Can anyone get a server up of this?

I got the modfolders to work, I got everything to work.
Only thing that doesn't work is the ambient civilian module, whenever I place a bunch and enter that code, no civilians spawn at all, so I just have that one zombie that I spawn to start the infection off.
And even then, he doesn't do anything except run around town and not try to go other places.

Maybe I am a bit slow, so what?
Also, just because I am not adept at things right away, doesn't mean I'm a dumbass, it means I'm a slow learner.
Someone create a mission/video where you are in the city, it's night, and the evacuation via helicopters are in progress, but its one hell of an giant clusterfuck. Panicking Civilians, Shooting cops, soldiers, infecteds. Utter chaos everywhere, the streets are littered with corpses, burning cars and barricades. You must reach the still standing evacuating outpost before the city is bombed to ruins. And when you do, you can see from the open door how the jets fly under/overhead dropping their deadly cargo.
