I was thinking about buying arma 2; played the demo a few weeks ago and besides it being really hard I was really interested in playing more of it. This mod looks promising.

Wow, that "everyone is fuckin insane" atmosphere is great . Sad that the stand / hit animations are glitchy.
Does ArmA have open city / village levels?
There are no levels in ARMA, it is all open world. The missions you go on are only a small part of the huge ass map.
Can someone tell me the init. code which gives weapon to the unit?
I have tried everything and it just refuses to give weapon to the unit.
Because i want the civilian police to do something else than just run away.
What weapon? Oh and if they're civilian they won't shoot at anyone at all, unless you group them to a side (group them to a BLUFOR officer for example and then set the blufor's guy probability of spawning to zero)

Yep, it can be like that, it just takes more care and attention than most FPS games, simplest advice is to be ready to hit the deck or get in cover at any given moment.
oh and to give the cops weapons, copy/paste this into the initialisation line.

START THE ENGINE WE GOTTA GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!"
This is gonna be fun, the city got flagged as code red.
Code red happens when anyone is killed in that city by a zombie/infected.
