Oh wow. I'm getting so many ideas reading this thread.
For example making the zombie health as low as possible, spawning a lot around a few npc marines and then starting a rescue mission (Or watch it from a remote unreachalbe location like a movie like thing)
The possibilities :byodood:
Makes me wish I have Arma 2
What are your favorite guns to kick zombie ass?
I use: HK416, TAR-21 with Mars sight, M4A1 SBR (apart from jamming too much).

The M60 sailed to the new world to create its own world of zombie pain. And back pain if you have to carry it.
The helicopter thing seems to happen with all choppers. You can't die by crashing them. You just eject from what used to be a helicopter, and walk away with full health.

I like picking them of with the Dragunov.
and the machine gun on the Tunguska, it sends them 50 feet in the air.
I wonder does this mod work for the steam Demo?
why don't you try it?
Downloading this now. I'm so glad I bought this game.

I don't wanna waste my Download speed.
I was using a squad of soldiers in an entire city filled with Zombies. eventually they were overwhelmed and I sent a nuke strike. My last Police Officer was trying to shoot a few attacking a woman when they started at me, so I ran off, into a building and managed to get to the roof while they glitched at the door. Then I was shooting them from the roof with my pistol, I was nearly out of ammo when I see a streak across the sky, white blinding flash and then I died.
I switched to my reinforcement and entered the town ready for a fight after the radiation settled. There was none;
Aftermath:

Badass
Now make a video out of it
I created a roadblock between the City and the country side, inserted a huge amount of civies, add a pinch of infection and waited a few minutes for it to heat up. Needless to say, there were no survivors. It's nearly impossible to pick infected out of the civies, even more so at night.

The smoke behind the hill is a small town that I tried to defend. Scorched Earth now.
Holy shit that's awesome! Can't be arsed to reinstall arma 2 because my shitty computer can merely run it. And i don't understand shit about the editor.
Oh i also demand more pictures.
I use my print screen button to take screenshots so I rarely remember to reach all the way over there in the fight to press it. I'll go back and play for a bit and take some more if there is anyone still sitting on the fence about getting the mod.
Until then;
"Roads? Where we're going we don't need no roads!"

Looks like so much fun
Do people usually construct their own scenarios like this online?
I think I'm going to go ahead and buy this game, but my current hardware is limiting.
So is mine, I play on all low settings. Until I get my computer back at least.
I create my own, I'll upload the finale of my last one (The one pictured above) because I didn't save the first two before it. If anyone wants it.
I was playing by myself, I rarely go online, pain in the ass with addons and all.
Shit, i want to install arma 2 now.
I got this game once, uninstalled it because of that my computer barely could handle it, though.
This has made me re-download it all once again, 24 hours of downloading, here I come!
Static Defense at a strategic choke point, Mounted Guns, three abrams, Humvees with M2's and grenade launchers, detachment of Marines and defenses.

Makeshift defense in a City, Police Officers defending themselves;

Aftermath of that battle from a Green Zone;

Fleeing across an open field, much like 28 Weeks Later;

And then being torn apart;

Outrunning Infected in the nick of time;

That's all for now, I'm pretty much done for the night.
Damn awesome.
I might just make a mission if i knew how to set up objectives and shite.
One team is stranded in an infected city.They have a large supply of ammo and heavy weapons.
The other team is in another city. They don't have as many weapons but only a few zombies lie between them and an airstrip which they must fight there way to. They then take a helicopter and evacuate the first team.
Rather like a completely player controlled version of a L4D2 finale
Go to the BI Forums and look around/read around
Seriously, we need an epic 28 d/w style escape video in the styles of what Codemonkey posted
Slightly offtopic, but am I the only person completely unable to download from filefront? It's the only place where parts of the ACE mod are located, and the damn thing never starts downloading.

How did you sent that nuke? I mean i know how you can do it manually with nuke scud...

That's pretty awesome. As funny as it is, there's just something cool about an army bear mowing down hordes of zombies.
To help with the awesomeness, use this module
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=93811
Basically allows you to call in a medevac chopper
cool. I wish there was the 9-line med-evac form like in VBS2, though

I did it manually.
I always set up every other unit, sometimes all of them to playable so after one dies, I can switch, or I can switch if I need support. So I switched to a SCUD across the map and fired it.
I remember in ARMA1 you could call it in if it was in your squad to attach where ever, or if it was supporting you, but it's also a Commie unit and I play American..

You can use a few Triggers and script functions to call one in. Doesn't take much time at all either.
