Pray tell how, I can't find any functions for it.
I think the functions are the same from the first one. I think they're in the readme of both ArmA I and ArmA II Scud Downloads.
If you use those you basically can set triggers to activate certain functions. You can even dissect an Air Strike Script using ArmA Edit and just replace the portion of the codes which involve dropping GBU's (Or Whatever ammo the creator decided to use) with the Nuclear Scud's and it should work. If I try it a little later I will.
I made a new mission, nothing too serious just fucking around. Sniper trying to support a Convoy of Buses as they attempted to navigate to the airport. I was able to keep them off them and they were pretty fast so they made it there without much incident. They noticed the sniper and came after him, a helicopter extracted him and then a Self Propelled Howitzer was able to completely demolish the building. The mission ended when the Howitzer team, the pilots and Sniper get on a Civilian C-130 and flew off. It was pretty funny to be honest.

Has anyone figured out how to make them hostile towards civilian players/independents?
What do you mean? They always attack Civilian NPC's and players for me. Just not independents because they're in the independent faction.
When playing as a civilian I could run into infected, and they would just stare at me, although they attack civilian NPCs.
It might have just been a one time glitch though, I'll go try it again.
Maybe. Sometimes it takes them a few seconds to target you.
Enemy

way out!
400 meters!
This is epic

am i the only person who thinks the voice acting isn't that bad?
All I need now is a better computer...

It doesn't matter to me. ArmA2 is a realistic war-simulator so it fits if you ask me.
I created a roadblock between the City and the country side, inserted a huge amount of civies, add a pinch of infection and waited a few minutes for it to heat up. Needless to say, there were no survivors. It's nearly impossible to pick infected out of the civies, even more so at night.

Is this all in a mission or did you create it yourself?
Is this all in a mission or did you create it yourself?
It's in a mission he created himself.
Are the vehicles in there just for show or did the civilians actually try to leave?
Just for show. If the civilians had actually tried to drive to the barricade they would have gone around, crashed into eachother, one would have exploded and cause a chain reaction and then the infected would be the least of my worries.
How easy is it to take them down?, bullet to the head, burst to the chest?
depending on the gun, a few rounds to the head. ill test with a few guns
edit:
2 shots from a M16A4 to the head
1 shot with a AK-47
Can you run this mod with the demo?
Can you run this mod with the demo?
download it and find out
My question is this, do we have to place civilians for the infection to spread, or can we just set up the module and have zombies spawn?
My question is this, do we have to place civilians for the infection to spread, or can we just set up the module and have zombies spawn?
I believe you need to place the Ambient civilian module too.
Or place civilians yourself, but that would take forever.
also, I'm liking Attachto.
I constructed a bunker on top of my bus and mowed down infected with a mounted machine gun while a teammate drove.

place a zombie, the module, and civilians. Place the ambient civilian module if you want more civs to spawn..

This is what I do. I throw in a crowd or two near the zombie/zombies to get things started. I sometimes have migrating crowds of fleeing civies depending on the scenario.

I'm playing with ACE, but in most situations a shot to the head at close range will drop them. As for body shots, a .50 will need a shot or two, and assault rifles can take a dozen rounds or more. I think infected have a little less health than zombies, too.

Tell me exactly how you did that. I know with the AttachTo command, but what's the exact thing you put in it?
