This made me order Arma. How well does this work in multiplayer?
Not well as far as I've heard, but it is only a beta so far anyway
Just needs some online and will be soooo much more fun
Okay, that's fucking it. I'm buyng this fucker NO MATTER WHAT
I wish i could attachto properly. I'm going to try this in ACEX and make something that resembles dead reckoning.
D: Must....get...game
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwCG8V42Ku0[/hd] Moar :v:
My zombies just stand still and do nothing, help? I put the infected module in and spawned the infected infront of citizens and it doesnt work. :( FIXED, great mod! just when you use lots of zombies sometimes they dont attack.

Oh my this is awesome especially with the medivac module. We were overrun and i called in a medivac. The medic died and the chopper fucked off.
I would have bought this game now and recorded some awesome vids with max video settings if I didn't already spent 400 dollars on games the past month :C
an easier way to use AttachTo is
this attachTo [<name of object you want to attach to>,[0,0,0]];

this //basically means to do X action for whatever you are putting in the init field attachTo // attachto (command?) [<object name>, // set name to object you want to attach "this" to [0,0,0]] // set position, play around with it. you can use decimals ; // basically means "done". if you want to put in another script, just put it after the ";"
[editline]09:01PM[/editline] oh yeah and if you want to put something in the air use this
setPos [getPos this select 0, getPos this select 1, <height>]
I'm gonna fill a city with zombies, then re-enact Apocalypse Now with a Huey rush. [editline]04:02PM[/editline] Also, usually when you tell another chopper to enter formation, they are very far away, is there any way to make them closer?
if you use Ambient Civilian module use this to get more people infected this setvariable ["ALICE_forcePopulation",true];
No, they tend to stay far away because if they come closer the AI always ends up crashing them
if you use Ambient Civilian module use this to get more people infected this setvariable ["ALICE_forcePopulation",true];
Do I put that in the console? Is this ambient civvie module a download or what, or is it that command?
Do I put that in the console? Is this ambient civvie module a download or what, or is it that command?
F7 -> Modules -> Place an Ambient Civilian module and enter that in the "initialization" field.
Ah, also, just reinstalled ARMA2, so how do I install all these mods?
Ah, also, just reinstalled ARMA2, so how do I install all these mods?
Create a folder in the game's directory. Call it @Zombies. Create a folder inside that called "addons", and put the addon files there. Missions would go in a "Missions" folder, and keys inside a "Keys" folder, etc. Edit your shortcut to say -mod=@Zombies at the end. That is how you create mod folders.
forget what he said place them all in the addons folder :mmmsmug:
Yea, I'll go with that.
you don't. :laugh:
I'm using the mod folder method, I know from experience how the Addons method fucks shit up.
I'm trying it out with "the FEW" to see if it's compatible. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=94186 Nothing beats mowing down zombies in a Spitfire.
the FEW works great, although you'll run out of fuel fast.. so make sure them zombies stay away from the airport

[editline]06:54PM[/editline] Nevermind, but when I go to add units in the editor, there is no zombie option.

I already tried that, do you need to load a module? I don't see a F7 button anywhere, do I need to patch up for that.
I already tried that, do you need to load a module? I don't see a F7 button anywhere, do I need to patch up for that.
Probably, in older versions modules were chosen from the Units menu.
Meh, I'll patch. Anybody wanna play a multi game of this? Whoever makes the best mission can host.
you can't play multi with the mod........
Yes you can its just a bit glitchy. [editline]07:51PM[/editline] Anyway, the infected still aren't showing up in the editor. When I do finish the mission, how do I enter the game?
