Well, I got the sound working on mine craft on my desktop running xp, the game still stutters, but I can live with it. :buddy:

I strongly recommend using the Skinedit program in the link I gave you. As Tyvak said using Paint will break the transparency, causing the headgear not to show at all.

I just made a cave house, with
- A decorative fountain with an emergency exit behind it
- An area for farming with a decorative tree in the center
- Fully lever-controlled doors
- Glass cube-like room for panoramic view with a waterfall on its' roof
- A sofa with wool with a jukebox playing cat song.
- A temple place to pray
- A place to take bath (wooden pool)
It is awesome :D
Not epic like your mega-structures guys, but thats the best house i ever made :3

How do you make screenshots properly? These wide screen ones are so cute, but i get black screen if i try print screen.

The F3+S sound fix works a charm, as does the transparency. Unfortunately the Skinedit.jar program closes itself and vomits text documents of error logs at me when I tried to load my skin, but that's how the cookie crumbles. Thanks guys, but I have one last test:

Who's that Pokéore? It sure isn't redstone, I found that eslewhere. It bubbles and if I mine it with one of my 35-or-so cobblestone picks it doesn't drop.

OH CHRIST I just heard a KAWASH and saw an arrow land by my feet. Apparently a skeleton spawned in my cave system even though it's completely lit up by torches. And if that stuff is Redstone, then what's this other reddish-brown stuff I've been mining.

Made a really useful monstertrap in my waterdome house game. All you have to do is stand at the collection point at night and you get loads of string/gunpowder/feathers.
It's probably a well known trap mechanic but i'll post some pictures anyway for those who don't know it yet.
