I finally found the exit, but I decided to explore more

What the fuck? I went far underground, and when I dug back up when I heard water and animals, I found that I got out just by my second mine, 2 feet from it :colbert:

After working on a new building for a while, I headed back to my main room to craft some more fences and grab some material from my chests.

Along the walls in both the first and second floor I have chests full of cobblestone and dirt from when I mined the quarry next to my base.

I surrounded my house pretty well to keep it away from enemies; but, a creeper got caught in a water current and ended up floating right next to my window without me realizing it. I walked over to the chest next to the window to get some stone and heard the familiar sound. He blew up and destroyed half of my house -- along with 3 of my chests. Stuff spew out everywhere.

Is Notchs server offline or somehing? Every time I try to log in, it says log in failed. And under that is says "Play Offline" and "Try again".

Day 1
2nd Anvil 166

I have moved around a mile since the last entry, and there’s no sign of a decent place to set up a small shelter. The snow is beginning to wear me down. Trees are plentiful, and the only shelter I’m getting at the moment. The sun is starting to set. I haven’t seen a single other creature on my journey.

Day 1
2nd Anvil 166

Merely half an hour after my previous entry, I have found a small cave, which proves as an able shelter for now. I heard the noises of a cow and a chicken nearby, however I have no use for their produce at current. I’m going to set up my crafting bench and get some tools prepared, then wait the night.

3rd Anvil 166

Midnight struck. The night moves on. I’ve forged a pickaxe using wood and stone, and I have spotted a cave leading deep down in to the depths of the underground just a short walk from my abode. It’s unbelievably dark down there however. I need some form of light to see…

Listen guys, I got an awesome idea. As an entrance to you base, make a labyrinth without a roof, then use redstone to mark the right way, when mobs get lost you go on the walls and kill them easily. Am I smart?
