I'm sure this is old, but you know, 87 pages. Are shadows on dropped/floating items fucked to all hell for anyone else? I get a weird repeating circle texture on the ground when I drop anything.

Guys. I had a minecraft server running for a while but some people after like the fifth person said it was quite laggy. It is not my connection so would it be ram or CPU? or could it be both. Running a 2ghz dual core and 3gb of ram (yes I know its crap, I wish my old computer worked because I could upgrade it pretty well ATM.)
So I'm trying to use Gyazo to get screenshots of the landscape I'm gonna use, but how do I turn it on without pausing Minecraft?
Ahh...can't get in anywhere!
Oh well, I want to recustomize the painterly anyway.

Print screen, paste in paint, gyazo the part you want.

I stopped mining it after I got like five stacks. No way I will ever need five stacks unless Notch makes some way to make it into a nice looking building material.
I hate hearing hostile Mobs a mile underground in a cave, and I have no idea where they're coming from. It makes me nervous.

That whole area used to be very hilly and uneven land. After about 10~ hours of work, i got it flat, then i put up the walls, now its time to set up my house (In the pic i just started), to make the barn, and finally to set up the farming area of it.

They just play the sounds, even on peaceful.
So you know how you can make a mini waterfall/spring by dropping water on a wall or on the ground or something? If I made a trench that ran up against wall, and then dropped a waterfall a few blocks above it, would it just fill the trench or would it flow over?
Do you know what's aweful?
