Morning. I need to find something to light up a torch with. Preferably wall-mounted. I mined through a small tunnel and made some snowballs for simple entertainment. However, the snow keeps falling. It’s endless.

I found several chunks of a jet-black ore. I believe this to be coal. I forged some torches out of coal and wood to use at night. Bliss.

I have exhausted the local area of its resources, and moved out. I’ll head whichever way the world takes me until I find somewhere to make a better home.

Night-time. Midnight just passed. I’m walking along the ice as I write this, looking for a home and resources. I have turned around numerous times and seen something move out of sight in a split-second. I fear I may be being followed.

I’ve constructed a home out of wood. Simple, but warm enough. I’m a bad craftsman. What can I say? I tried to use my radio to contact home but I got no signal. I find it strange…I haven’t travelled more than 100 whekans, but I’ve lost signal. I have to find a way to contact my family.

That's exactly what I was going to do.
I was going to have hidden creepers, spiders, skeletons, and slimes around my room with a fort and some friendly mobs around my desk.

I can't figure out how to do the slime, it's literally 2 different blocks, one in the other.
I recently made a papercraft creeper.
It looks pretty shitty though, because I used normal paper. A bit stronger paper would've been better.

I used regular printing paper for mine.
Eh, is there any way to fix no-sound-mobs? They're totally quiet. Almost everything else i working, I guess.

I've got a standard server running if that's a problem. Only downside is that I can't find a way to enable mobs/damage. :frown:

In the same folder that your server is in, there will be a .properties file.
Open that in any text editor and change mobs=false to true.
