How do I get the World of Minecraft client to work? I put the minecraft.jar in the lib folder and tried to run it from run.bat, but it gives me an error.

Wow. I went out exploring and found a really good cave system, so I went back to my house to get my tools. Now I'm trying to find it and there are so many caves. I found a small one with coal, so I mined one coal ore and heard zombies and spiders. I look down and it seems to lead into a much larger cave. Only half health and no armour, but with a steel sword, what do?

In which case you'll need to have access to your router which I won't be able to explain clearly to you. You might try asking for help in Hardware and Software on forwarding ports. The specific port you need is 25565.

And as I already mentioned, you need to forward your ports as well.

I think that if you have a furnace directly over a lava lake at lava level it should be permanently lit.
