Hang this guy he's teh pirate! Don't follow him you fools!
Having finally bought the game, I tried my hand at skinning.
I'm not that good at it, but I think my Gordon Freeman turned out pretty okay:

Not really. I'm pretty happy with the default painterly sand.
The only thing that bothers me in Painterly Pack is the ugly as fuck wood.

there's a customizer, but you wouldn't know that because you don't read anything and just click on shiny buttons and things that say HERE

Mineview has to be the absolute most usefull tool for minecraft. I personally think its better than using cartograph even though it has its limitations.
Both of the wood textures.

also just so you know you can edit the terrain.png yourself and tailor it more to your liking. for example, I've just given the sponge a use as a warning sign, and removed the wood from my minecart tracks.
Yep. I edited doku's RPG terrain.png a bit. I prefer RPG anyways.
the painterly pack is sort of ugly in general :saddowns:

I like it because it maintains the pixelated style of Minecraft without the glitches caused by 32px packs, and it's also got a lot of customization options which are good springboards for personal edits.

Also because you can turn chickens into ducks
still trying to find enough good duck sounds to make a duck sound pack for chickens
Does anyone know ho long it takes to install minecraft into your computer? It's been twenty minutes and it still says downloading packages.
if anyone has a lot of duck sounds on-hand, zip them up and I'll make a duck sound pack
[editline]03:32PM[/editline]
does anyone happen to have a lot of duck sounds
I'm gonna sound like an idiot but where do I find the Skins folder in the .minecraft folder? I'm trying to install PainterlyPack but there is no Skins folder.

Searched there, they don't have much in the way of stock sounds. :smith:
Video of my trap in case anyone is interested in how it works. Simple idea, greatly effective! Also, the first thing that fell in the trap was a skeleton riding a spider, the first one i've ever seen too :v:

I just got done with mowin' mah lawn, and guess why it was related to MineCraft?
I was listening to 2/3's of the Minecraft music.
I like the original textures more for some reason

Thanks, it's all good now.
Is there a method to where the water streams flow from? Or is it just simply trying to collect as much as possible.
