manic digger is better
at least it uses original textures

:v:
Manic Digger doesn't use Minecraft textures. You either retextured it, or photoshopped the GUI in.
Manic Digger is a blatant copy either way, though.
I am beginning to think my char is magnetically attracted to lava, oh and floating sand blocks in a natural cave that all fall when you destroy one
Is there a method to where the water streams flow from? Or is it just simply trying to collect as much as possible.
If you're trying to find a source to a stream of water, find the BEGINNING of it and pick it up with the bucket.
Video of my trap in case anyone is interested in how it works. Simple idea, greatly effective! Also, the first thing that fell in the trap was a skeleton riding a spider, the first one i've ever seen too :v:

What's the song in the video? It's amazing :buddy:
I decided I didn't have enough iron. I proceeded to dig straight down.
I found coal, gold, and even 2 diamonds, but there was no iron to be seen.
I got a bunch of duck sounds but I hate all of them

the same goes for original minecraft textures actually
The only thing that bothers me is the fact that his cows lack horns. Brown iron making gray tools and gray stone making brown tools was a bit counter-intuitive at first, too. I emailed him a fix for all these things that he could add to the customizer, but I never got a reply.
Since when has a cow had horns?
[img_thumb]http://gluttonize.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/cow.jpg[/img_thumb]
Depends on the breed.
[edit]The default Minecraft cow has them, too.

since there were male cows
[edit]Wait, didn't this thing have Automerge? Dammit, I didn't even want to doublepost!
since there were male cows
Oh. Boxes please! :woop:
since there were male cows
The proper term is bull....
And, in Minecraft, you can apparently milk both... x.X

Paul Pritchard - Steps to Success. Its a non-commercial production song, free and legal to download.
Hoorah, found my first diamond!:neckbeard:

"since when did cows have horns" "since there were male cows"
saying "since there were bulls" wouldn't have nearly the same effect

Thanks. It's a great song
since there were male cows
Male cows don't exist, since those are are only bulls. Also, on farms, cows are being 'de-horned' because they are dangerous for the farmer and the other animals. Some farmers leave them on, but not many. That, alongside the reason some breeds don't have them in the first place, is the reason you won't see many cows with horns.
The cows in Minecraft seem to be roaming in the wild, though, unless this is just a really big farm we're on.
Just bought it :3:
Stop prejudicing the shemale cows.
About cows, the horns sometimes oddly float aside the cow's head, and slowly go back to the head :|
Do Mine Carts work under-water?

What are good methods to reliably find supplies of iron or coal? And how are people finding enough diamond to have full sets of diamond tools? It's so rare, how are you finding that much?
What are good methods to reliably find supplies of iron or coal? And how are people finding enough diamond to have full sets of diamond tools? It's so rare, how are you finding that much?
Caves!
same here
Then get some.
You know, read books, listen to tales and that stuff.
Since there is no actual design and rules in a book, you imagine it (an object, the world) as you want, and that help your creativity.
I will agree that I do get a lot of coal out of caves, but almost never diamond. What's a good way of finding caves reliably?
GAH! 4 creepers blew up my own with around a 5 second delay between each explosion. Long story short my house is gone.

Search for caves that go to the center of the earth, diamond is usually near lava, or you could always blast your way down to diamonds :science:
