In my old cave I finished digging through last night I hit a overflow of lava and adminium and redstone but no diamond.
Why did Notch have to pick Java. :\
You can do all what cubelands does in java, it's just a few shitty shaders slapped on.
You guys ever hear about that new Cubelands game, the one that's basically Minecraft creative 2.0? Well I got an invite to the closed beta. The controls for building take a little while to get used to. Minecraft's controls are vastly superior. As you can see the blocks are basically the same Dat blur. Thankfully you can turn it off My score on it? 5/10. Needs tons more work, tons more content, and needs to be more than just a Minecraft clone. Definitely not worth the 7.50 euro they're gonna sell it for. I'd say don't even bother with this game.
Here's 2 keys for www.cubelands.com Private beta key: QAHIJYGVGE Private beta key: N5A5FB4565 I wouldn't recommend playing it though, It's pretty shitty (imo) but some people liked the look of it so there you go.
Haha, the player model looks more funnier than in Minecraft's but the graphics are better.

I'm back, You all miss me? I wanted to wait for this:
Whenever I need to get somewhere, Like an exact point, I write down the amount of blocks it is from my starting position and subtract/add accordingly to how I move. I'll end up with complex and bending tunnels and at most off by two or three blocks from miscounting. If you're referring to blind mining for resources why would you ever stray from a straight path? You might have off branches for veins but no reason why there wouldn't be a central tunnel that goes in one direction only.
It's easier to just invent a system of torch roads that feed to the main path. It's also very useful to use signs to indicate which way the road flows. It's incredibly simple and doesn't require monotonous block counting.

Finally got to lava, but i also hit bedrock.
Holy fuck the slideshow is showing some pixel art made in minecraft !
Wait, is Cubeland able to load Minecraft saves?
Why did Notch have to pick Java. :\
Does it matter? This cubelands thing is a huge ripoff, just with better graphics, i doubt it will get famous like minecraft did.
Is there any way to destroy a door ? [editline]07:22PM[/editline]
Wait, is Cubeland able to load Minecraft saves?
Dunno.
Is there any way to destroy a door ? [editline]07:22PM[/editline] Dunno.
Destroy the block the door is on.
Is there any way to destroy a door ? [editline]07:22PM[/editline] Dunno.
Open it. Then close it, but don't release the mouse button. Keep whacking at it, and you'll destroy it, and be able to pick it up again
I think i borked minecraft D:

But not knowing if where you are is the exact spot where you want to start mining upwards or a different direction is different, And could still be considered lost. I don't count when I'm looking for ore. [editline]05:27PM[/editline]
Holy fuck the slideshow is showing some pixel art made in minecraft !
No it isn't. :I
I have generated the most awesome map ever: I mean, just look at that shit.
Now build a house around/inside that pillar
Would it be possible to give minecraft better graphics - SSAO, Specular/Bumpmappig, blur, AA, etc, or is that impossible with java? Has notch ever said anything about improving the graphics in the game, either? If only there was a way to combine those graphics with minecraft's gameplay, perhaps an extra higher-graphic client? One can dream. :P

How the fuck do I mine adminium. :v: I can't destroy it at all.
I'm scared shitless of everything but the zombies, so yeah it's pretty normal. I'm sure a lot of people will agree.
and the slimes those motherfuckers are cute

(Game looks super smooth with AA on) Some Pong/rim shading might look good though.
I have generated the most awesome map ever: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/MC016.png[/img_thumb] I mean, just look at that shit.
Fuckin awesome pillar, but how the hell does a straight up floating block-high island in the sky get generated? I thought notch thought this out!
and the slimes those motherfuckers are cute
I have yett to see a slime :saddowns:
I have generated the most awesome map ever: I mean, just look at that shit.
My house is being built on something just like that, except it's right above a huge lake.
Can I get on the whitelist for 84.48.47.46?
