Got 33 pieces of mossy cobblestone from the dungeon. Along with some gunpowder, wheat, a saddle, iron, and two chests for my storage room.

is there really any point or purpose to farming/herding animals or is it just something to do? either way its a good idea.

I got my hopes up, no dungeon, just another cave system, oh well, i thought i got lucky too. Also i hate those ambient cave sounds, they freak me out so much.

Wow, another cave system with an entrance above ground. Unfortinutly, nothing was there this time, not even a mob.
One time, I got lost a really deep cave system and couldn't find my way out. I dug my way up at an angle, and hit a body of water that flooded the path I made. I swum back up the path, and ended up in a lake right outside my house. So goddamn lucky.
There needs to be a way to herd animals without snowballs and without hurting them. Maybe when horses come out?

Also, if you herd a sheep or something into a fenced area, they should stay there, forever. Also, ya, horses would be awesome, and it wouldn't add any RPG features at all, so it would keep its sandbox-ness of it.

So, after quite a few hours of screwing around, I made the first thing I'm mildly proud of. Be gentle.

I managed to save some of it, but I sit there, as most of it burns. Luckily, somehow, most of my belonging have not caught on fire. Infact, everything besides the base is still there. I might not survive the next few nights because of this, but if I'm lucky, i can rebuild.

I'm really sad now, because that house took more then 500 blocks of planks. All that remains is a bit of the structure and my farm.
