Turns out its fairly impossible to keep a constant supply of lava going from one source, although you can make a large amount it will dissipate quickly. I'll have to collect more lava sources.
Also Obsidian making only works if water comes in contact with the source, and at that point you lose a lava source.

That's in a desert though. Just sand everywhere, all the interesting stuff is a good way away.

To get sound working copy the resources folder from another installation that is working, I would give you mine but it can be found on google.

I tried it with stone but as far as I could tell it didn't work. Use iron.
