Well I finally managed to make a big cave base with a big amount of coal nearby but now I'm kind of at a loss for what to do.

When someone posts, they don't have to be responding to another person.
Building a tree is hard, gotta say.

I can't play Minecraft. Redownloading did not work, my drivers are completely updated, and I reinstalled Java. I was really looking forward to playing today after a long and annoying weekend in Michigan with people I hate.
But no.
I can't do that.
The site just doesn't want to work and there's nothing I can do about it.
Does anyone have a guide on how to set up your own SMP server? I'm trying to make a server for a friend and I.
just plant one?
It's not a small dinky tree, but rather a tree going from ground to the top level of map.
believe me, If I could grow it I would.
Play manic digger

what do you mean by not work? do you get some error, black screen, etc?
I was greeted by a skeleton that somehow got in my mine, which is completely sealed off and theres a 99.9% chance that something will get in and hunt me down when im mining. Do skeletons come from the ground or what.

I don't know if you guys can help me with this but whenever I try to play it says Java(TM) SE Binary is not responding. It happens with every version of Minecraft. That includes in-browser, the client and even the WoM hacked client.

It opens and then it closes. That's it. No error message or anything. I click it, the window comes up, and then it just goes away before anything shows up on it.

Uninstall Java completely, restart, reinstall Java.

where?!
Just found them, outside my castle. Creepers, skeletons and spiders oh my!
So I was getting bored... life was too easy. Just go out and get stock up by day, go in and wait by night. I figured it might be a little exciting to go on a journey, so I took to the seas. I purposely tried to lose my sense of direction. Eventually I came across an island. The sun was setting so I dug out a little hidey-hole to wait out the night in. Morning comes, and I decide to go get wood. I step over the hill and lo and behold, my old home. I took this as a sign that this island didn't want me to leave, so I figured, what the Hell, it ain't so bad here.

Are you running it in Windows 7? To get it to work I had check the run as administrator option in the properties of the program.
