Some thing is up with my minecraft. I lag like hell when playing it. Even with graphics set to fast.
My computer should easily be able to run minecraft.

Well according to Windows 7 my hard disk transfer rate is rated 5.9 out of 7.9 and my hard drive is fairly new. It's 500GB and I've partitioned it.

I just don't understand why I get 3fps.

I just redownloaded my entire minecraft and surprisingly it worked. (Backed up my saves of course).

I bought membership just before the server went tits up (I'm not admitting anything).

Bloody hell this is a good game. I haven't posted this until today because it's the first time in about 3 days that I've turned my computer on without going straight on Minecraft.

I've already learnt a good lesson: Never get overexcited and mine out the block you're standing on. Especially when there is lava nearby.

I feel like a kid, constantly going "oh wow!"

Haven't tried multiplayer yet...
