At random, i was just messing around. I found a cave with two chests in it. Thankfully i was on peaceful so there was no enemies. I found lots of iron, bread and other stuff. But i ran out of pickaxes so i had to break nearly 100 stone blocks by hand. Took forever.

How do I even build anything? I don't have an axe or anything

Hey, if I find a dungeon spawner, how do I make a harvester? I had an idea to drown the monsters when they spawn, and have the water carry their loot down to a holding pen. How would you do it? I've installed Doku's RPG texture pack. Is there any way to cheat items into SMP ? i want it for a private server.

So minecraft locked up my computer and when I rebooted my game save was gone. All progress lost. Anyone know if there's a way to get it back? Do you always lose EVERYTHING when the game crashes? That seems kind of shit.

That seems kind of shit.[/QUOTE] go to your minecraft saves folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\saves in Run), open the folder of the world your save was in, then remove level.dat and rename level.dat_old to level.dat.
