I like it on shift just because my pinky naturally rests there. I use it for TF2 as well.
I like it on shift just because my pinky naturally rests there. Plus most games now days have it set to ctrl in the first place.
Clay... Clay eve... And the result was 221 Brick blocks. Opps, missed some, the final outcome is: 298 Brick blocks.

Pigs outside my house, and cows... Took my cart for a ride down the track, pig jumped out and a creeper came back up. Blew a hole in half the track ;( Pigs are Spies
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start an underwater city/house? I'm playing on a snow world, to enable the ability of having ice skylights. It's a fresh start, I have only just collected coal and created a igloo. When I was collecting coal, I found a dungeon with a bit of redstone, some bread and 2 saddles.
Am I the only person who finds minecraft abit scariy/creepy at times??
Remember when notch said planets? I SEVERELY hope for this: awesome picture
That'd look awesome in game, though i'd love to see planets that were round aswell.
That'd look awesome in game, though i'd love to see planets that were round aswell.
Round wouldn't work. Cube planets on the other hand... :iia:
Round wouldn't work. Cube planets on the other hand... :iia:
either way these would both mean re-working the whole game's terrain and gravity engine. imagine digging all the way through, where /how would the gravity switch? it'd be buggy as fuck and either you'd get stuck in the middle or he'd have to block it off somehow not to mention trying to get things like water to work properly. maybe if the planet was made up of 6 terrain things it could be a bit more possible but then there's still the problem of what if somone wants to dig to the middle etc. what do you do then? the lava/magma liquid system still relies on the gravity etc. suppoes they could block center off with adminium but then it wouldn't really feeeeel like a planet. I want to dig into the core and get epic diamonds

But, if it doesn't block off the holes like in the map generator now, then when you fall, you could just fall a little then float. Then after 10 secs or so, you start to "drown" like in water.
Imagine making a roller coaster going from planet to planet..
I've been Googling around to see if anyone else has had an error like this. Do you guys know anything about this? Or anyway to fix?

I shit my pants constantly when exploring deep caves.
Download the latest exe from minecraft.net
I have. Still getting the same thing.
Did it just happen or is this your first time It might be some kind of firewall
First time. I'll try without the firewall on. EDIT: Well apparently my firewall is already off. -.-
Delete your .minecraft/bin folder and try again.
Found 12 diamond in a cave I dug up
Delete your .minecraft/bin folder and try again.
The one I downloaded is just an application.
I installed a texture pack @ http://painterlypack.net (by editing the minecraft.jar file) but have decided I prefer the older textures. How would I go about on reverting it back to normal? I tried deleting the minecraft.jar file alltogether in hopes that Minecraft would simply recreate it, but this wasen't the case. I'm unable to get ahold of the default one.
Or, if that doesn't work, download this and extract the bin folder to your .din folder. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3714349/Minecraft/Minecraft%20update.rar To get to your bin folder if you already don't know: 1.Press Win+R 2.Type this exactly without quotes "%APPDATA%\.minecraft" [editline]03:42AM[/editline]
I installed a texture pack @ http://painterlypack.net (by editing the minecraft.jar file) but have decided I prefer the older textures.
The one I downloaded is just an application.
On Windows Vista/7 go to: C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\ And then delete the folder called "bin" in there, then run the exe again. If you're on Windows XP it should be under: C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\.minecraft\
