What is this 'Skylands' I am hearing about?

I'll most probably buy this when the free thing ends, I have only played alone for now but it probably would be 10x more fun in multiplayer (this by no means means it isn't fun in single). You better use torches, or they can spawn in your house.

Put up a enough torches in the world and eventually, they will stop spawning.

Ack, is anyone else crashing whenever they try to get to the celestial wasteland on Skyland? If not, does anyone know what's going on?

and redstone gets more useful with that automatic minetrack button.

Full armour and a good sword next time (already had like 60 torches so I don't need more of those, but I'll definitely place EVEN more now). Yeah it was probably the darkness then, I usually lit up everything like a Christmas tree (gets scary down there otherwise, heck it's scary even with the torches) but I did leave some small tunnels completely pitch-black.

As long as you lay out torches the enemies won't spawn in the lit areas. Of course if the rest of the tunnel is dark they can just as easily spawn there.

Found a massive cave with tons of researches in my game. Managed to crawl back out with 256 Iron, 520 Redstone dust, 34 Diamond and 76 Gold. Haven't even counted the coal. :clint:

Just hosted my own server with a coupple of friends, we walked a good bit from spawn, so i tried /setspawn after OPing myself, but it doesnt seem to work, is it a outdated command or am i just stupid?

If I missed something and wanted it back, I can just run down and go get it again, or wait for it to naturally disappear.

But does water set stuff on fire.

I fell into lava yesterday with all sorts of good shit on my person, so instead of freaking the fuck out, I tossed up my valuables onto the ledge from whence I fell by use of the Q key, including the diamond, before my armor ran out, and recovered almost all the important stuff. It was a particularly :mmmsmug: moment.
