How do you get the wheat to actually get planted? I got three wheat out of a chest I found and haven't been able to plant it... Doesn't have anything to do with the fact I'm playing on a snowy map, does it?

You don't actually plant the wheat, you plant seeds. You can get the seeds from foraging grass with a hoe.

Just got it installed on my linux machine and I found out it handles weird aspect ratios pretty well :O

Buh, has anyone got a list of commands or a link to a program so you can spawn stuff at will in singleplayer?

I someone lightly touched lava and it managed to instakill me and I was on a narrow bridge over a pit of lava, loosing all my iron reserves and my diamond tools aswell as a few other essential things - Really can't be arsed to go through collecting that shit again.

If someone could help me out, that would be great - thanks!

Okay so, I'm trying to install painterly but I are very confuz. It says to open minecraft.jar with WinRAR, which I did, but now I can't drag the .pngs to the minecraft.jar/skin/<stuff> folders. I associated .jar's with winRAR if that was anything do with it.

You'll have to unzip the texture pack before being able to move them into the .jar file. (If you haven't already.)

I !!LOVE!! how sneaking does not trample crops. It merely allows me to Make more crops in a certain area, without messing up crops.
