I did a backup of my sound files before updating. I still have sound.

Same goes for me.

I still have sound and I didn't even do anything besides download the new launcher :confused:

Blarg, the Paintly Pack looks really gross now for some reason, the dirt texture gives me a headache.

am I the only one that has sound at all times?

I reckon Notch will start regular updates again once he gets all his shit sorted out. Server thing was a bit of a shock and the trip put him off balance and so will making a company but once its all in he'll get his groove again.

Err I thought the free weekend was over? It's still letting me play, and I'm having the same sound issues that people that actually bought and updated the game are having.

Creepers are delicioussssssssssssssss (overused joke) Oh, and where to extract that Minecraft Sound.7z zipped file that gets the sound of music back into Minecraft? Do I throw it into minecraft.jar?
