Though I do like the textures from it. Would love a texture pack for minecraft. Also, Depth Of Field looks nice. Mabye Notch should add that in a update? Optional of course.

I think Cubelands has the potential to be it's own independent competitor, but I'll stick to the low-def graphics and critical mass community of Minecraft any day of the week.

Ok, it took awhile and several long coal trips, but I've made about 5 stacks of glass. I made a torch laden wooden stairway up the tall stone tower I built, now it opens up on top to a large glass room. The room is bigger than any chamber I have on the ground, and it's stretching out pretty far, still need to finish it though. I found some lava, so I will get a few pieces of obsidian to place torches on in my high up executive glass chamber. :3:

The client would be optional, but incredible for those who can run it. The dynamic lighting would probably be modified to ensure that if a block is being hit by the inner sphere of light from a torch, it will not spawn mobs. Of course, the game would keep it's original mob models and textures, along with everything else. It would be a shader improvement, until you install custom textures for each type of block.
