Ok good, then I am all prepared for when the [img_thumb]http://www.personal.ceu.hu/students/08/James_Holman/Images/emu.jpg[/img_thumb] is finished.
Rip APB. I don´t buy this online paid games for this S***, and in the end you think, was my money worth?
Well I don't actually care for this game because I never had any interest in it, it still seems really odd to me that they'd just shut it down. I don't know how long they worked on it but I can imagine it was a damn long time. I don't see how they can just throw that all away.
Rip APB. F*** you EA! I don´t buy this online paid games for this S***, and in the end you think, was my money worth?
You don't have to censor yourself
I feel bad for all of the development team, five years of work for nothing.
Hehe, My friend just bought it about a month ago.
I remember when a friend of mine tried to get me to buy it. But he was american and I'm european so we would have been on different servers unless I got the american version and lagged like hell. I'm so glad I didn't get it now.
Oh wow, I'm so glad I got Modnation Racers instead of this.
Due to the private server stuff, you can technically download the installer and therefore the client for free from Action District. It's seven gigs, though, and almost everyone seems to be having installation problems (I got lucky), not to mention the private server isn't even up yet. At least it won't hurt to try now that there's no fees involved, eh?
roflmao, quickest server shutdown in history?
Actually it beat the world record for shortest-lived MMO by about a year
Meh. I had fun when i got this game when it first came out. Granted i stopped playing a month ago but it's still sad to see it go. It had so much potential. Also i paid for 2 copies of the game, 1 for a friend. Oh well. I suppose it was good while it lasted.
jeez, only 2 months old....... good thing i wasn't suckered by the character customization and stuff
OKAY! So, since the company's bankrupt... But there are still private servers... Does this mean that the game is now legal torrent fodder?
Wow, the game was just starting to get good too.
OKAY! So, since the company's bankrupt... But there are still private servers... Does this mean that the game is now legal torrent fodder?
Let me state this again. The game was always free, what you were paying for was connection to the game. You could download and intall, but not play the game.
Game was horrifically unbalanced and the car steering was just lazy programming. It seriously felt like I was driving the fucking MAKO from Mass Effect, with the only difference being you can't flip the MAKO.
What a shitty game.

everyone who bought this should get a refund
It's hard to get a refund from a dead company, now isn't it?
The previous holder of shortest lived MMO was SEED.
Oh man, glad i didnt buy it, it looked pretty to be honest though.
I'd considered buying it, but never got round to it. I'm glad I didn't, but it hurts me that this game had to die. It had so much potential. I was totally hoping for a GTA IV but with more than 12 players (might be 16) and more customization, but I guess it didn't end that way.
My first MMO ever shuts down like 2 months after I bought it. Anyone wanna gift me minecraft to ease the pain?
Only if you give me Dead Rising 2 to ease the pain of me getting minecraft for you.
Couldn't they just make it a F2P, with micro-transactions? I know they are bankrupt, but they shouldn't just let it go to waste.
Couldn't they just make it a F2P, with micro-transactions? Since their company's gone to shit, even a Nexon-style of business wouldn't help them pay for hosting the servers if they weren't getting enough via monthly fee in the first place.
The previous holder of shortest lived MMO was SEED.
I thought Tabula Rasa came pretty close
