KingKombat, it's called Campaign mode. Play The Covenant, AKA the best Halo 3 mission ever.
Damn, we need some sort of calendar to organize custom games. This is shit.
You want an invite?
Yes please.
Custom games were fun, but now it's down to just about seven people playing stupid gametypes. I had a lot of fun earlier though. We should do this every Saturday, around 3 PM pacific until whenever we decide to stop.
I thought 2 was also released on sept 25th-ish :raise:
/not googling, wasting too much time on this thread
In case anyone is interested, Halo 2 was released on November 9, 2004.
Damn, I'm credit capped, I was hoping to hit Lt. Colonel today.
I got an idea for a game mode
indestructible warthog that you have to get into a certain zone via explosions

Gruntpocalypse or are you just that good?
How did Bungie make King of the Warthog?
I can't seem to make the warthog be the hill correctly.
Just ask them

Half the time when it was just me and my one friend playing Halo, we'd go into blood gulch and have a war where we had infinite sticky grenades and threw them at the warthog, trying to crush eachother. Was an absolute blast
...Also reminds me of when I tried to play halo using one of those big flimsy DDR pads. Ended up glitching a tank and sending it flying straight up, then it did that insane twitchy fly-everywhere thing for like ten minutes.

You could not believe the picture I just imagined

Half grunt, half matchmaking with the boys for a few days.
I should finish the map already :v:
Hory sheeeit
Makes me wanna play Halo 3 to nostalgia
Except for the fact that Halo 3's current player count is the same as the age of the average Facepunch user
The other morning it was above 20,000. Not bad.
Though I agree with the person who said to play The Covenant. The Halo 3 campaign was the best of the lot if only for the last few levels.
If anybody's up for it, I'm ready for some custom games-age.
Basically everything after the base level is awesome.
If anyone needs mapping help, I'm always here to give a helping hand.
Working on a map that turned out quite reminiscent of The Cage and since I love that map I'm not going to go out of my way to make them dissimilar but they're still totally different.. if you know what I mean.
How the hell are "Out of Bounds" and "Foundry" bad names? I could see Foundry because it was a Halo 3 map, but they didn't create the word. And out of bounds? That could be a creative name for a map.
Fixed the second phase spawn. I just need to add safe zones and some objects and then it should be done.

Can you earn more than 50 cR in forge if you're offline?
Can you earn more than 50 cR in forge if you're offline?
Not if you have been online before going offline again.
Once you're online Reach locks you at 1000cR a day while offline, I believe.
I always earn 60 cR for 20 minutes of forging.
