Actually, in Firefight each spree is at increments of 10 kills. In fact, you don't even need to die that much - just get 50 kills in a row without dying, then die, then get 20 kills without dying.
Success, just got it.
Now for this last challenge - complete 10 games of MP Matchmaking. About halfway there.

The controls are pretty weird for no reason, I think if you just put melee back on B, armor ability on right shoulder and grenade switch above grenade trigger (like would make sense) then it would be perfect.
But no there's no controls like that.

Like BmB said, they really needed to keep at least a legacy control scheme that follows halo 3's controls closer. Took me a few hours to get used to it, but I'm now playing just fine on the new greenthumb. It's a bitch in edit mode, though, since the right bumper (to move your monitor upwards, obviously) also triggers the damn zoom. :argh:
i prefer recon control scheme over any other one.
Anyone have a live code they don't mind giving? Something like a 48 hour would be fine. I can't offer anything for it though.
i have an original xbox live code but i dont think it would work

Not so much follow Halo 3 as simply being as consistent with established Halo conventions as possible. They're almost there they even have action/reload back on X but for some reason they chose to fuck it up even though they had no reason to.

Had some fun looking for easter eggs with KingKombat45 and Im Hungers. Sort of. Most of the time was spent using the Banshee boost to speed towards mountains.

Friend told me it's been turned off since people updated their armour so often, reduce stress on the site.
