I honestly don't like the cR system. I like the old Halo 3 method more.
In Halo 3, it seemed like you got armor by being good at the game. Or at least that's what it seems like to me.
In Reach, it seems to encourage people not to be good at the game, but to grind. It's promoting the wrong idea.

I gotta admit that Reach was turning me away at first due to the slow and sucky missions in the beginning. I just got done playing the story via co-op. Everything from the space battle missions to the finale was fan-fucking-tastic. Its a shame that the game doesn't get interesting until halfway through but it does make you wanna forgive such a slow start.
The ending sequence caught me way off guard. Very clever way to end the game.
Just got my Yes, Sensei achievement. Boneyard plus 1CTF plus scorpion = awesome
yes sensei is so easy to get though, I almost always get first strike

In Halo 3 all you did to get armor was farm achievements.
I had 22 points last game. 4v6. Us with 4, lost at 33-37. I literally accounted for more then half of those points.

I'm getting the game 2 days later than expected. Family is tight on money.
OCTOBER 3RD. I'LL REMEMBER REACH.
So apparently Warrant Officer Grade 3 to Captain is the largest requirement of credits, and then it gets ridiculously easy after that. How weird.

Start a game on Normal, turn on Cowbell, go to Rally Point Bravo. Do the Helicopter bit, and then as soon as you get your last kill, revert to your last save. In ten minutes you get thousands of credits, plus it gives you a ton of commendations.
Quitters are still major problem. Every single game someone leaves and you have to wait minutes for the game to reset.
