Legendary is only impossible if you let your guard down and don't concentrate. Other than that it's just you dying a lot.
Well, I was checking the GS forums(don't ask), and I saw this: wow, just wow. Needless to say, I doubled facepalmed at that quote. Either that, or that person was trolling. If so, I should stop deciding to facepalm preemptively, if not, what an idiot. Is firefight good in Reach?

I think my IQ just went down reading that.
Hey guys, I got 777 out of a slot machine today when the entire enemy team quit. Considering Bungie is obsessed with the number seven, I'm wondering if it was luck or some sort of condition (ie the other team quit) that caused this jackpot on the slots. Edit: crap I see other people have been getting it a few times. I must have been unlucky to finally get it today

Muthafucking elites stole my warthog on the 3rd mission. Human bullets hurt more.
now wait... someone straighten this up for me. If it was or was not Linda, wasn't the PoA the only ship to escape reach? Even then, it was destroyed at the end of the first Halo so if she WAS onboard at the time she went up with it, no? LINDA WHERE ARE YOU DAG NABBIT
It explains in the 3rd (?) book that she was revived so there must've been a different ship besides the PoA that escaped.
I love this game but i'm tired of getting booted all the damn time. Happened 3 times yesterday, all were the first accidental betrayal the entire game and I don't spam bullets into my team's face either. My teammates hate getting killed on accident by me when they're just gonna die in 5 seconds without my help. I just don't get stupid people.
Very fucking close to Captain. Aww yeah.

And yes, to answer your question. Does your quit count thing get reset every now and then? Because I don't want to be banned because I have to quit 3 times in 3 months.
It explains in the 3rd (?) book that she was revived so there must've been a different ship besides the PoA that escaped.
Uh, what? Linda was on PoA, her cryopod was picked up from space after Halo 1, she was taken inside the Covenant flagship which MC, Johnson, and the other guys captured. When they returned to Reach, they found the destroyed hulk of Gettysburg, and restored the medbay to working condition. She was revived there.
[sp]It's an easter egg on the mission where you collect Cortana. It's basically a room with all sorts of information on fansites and projects such as RVB.[/sp]
[sp]No its the Easter egg with Chief/Linda on the Pillar of Autumn[/sp]
[release]El Matador[/release] [release]The Bull/Juggernaut -Juggernaut is extremely weak to explosions -Juggernaut must get in vehicle to avoid destruction from Matadors -Juggernaut cannot use vehicle cannons or weapons -Juggernaut MUST splatter the Matadors[/release] [release]Matadors -Matadors start with concussion rifles and deal little to no damage -Matadors must try to get the Juggernaut/Bull to run into a stack of fusion coils or mines -Matadors are unable to use vehicles -Matadors have access to Powerups and weapons -The yellow powerups gives the Matador the ability to jack a vehicle, but it only lasts for 3 seconds. It also adds an overshield[/release] [release]Once a new juggernaut is selected, you must wait for him to board a vehicle. Anyways, he is safe for 10 seconds. Juggernauts shouldn't bother trying to kill people with a gun, since he would be outnumbered and he is weaker. Recommended for 4-8 people. More is fucking chaos. Its pretty damn fun for even just 3 people.[/release] So thats my new gametype. Hectic at the least and crazy as hell. PM me I'm Flubadoo if you want to play some of it. Its in that big room in the Forge World. Its still kind of WiP since it was originally meant for Halo 3, but its close to done.
-Matadors are unable to use weapons -Matadors have access to Powerups and weapons
... What?
Anyone tried recreating Bike-A-Tron yet?
... What?
Fuck, I messed up there. [editline]04:22PM[/editline] Got it fixed. Matadors cant use vehicles.
Oh that one.
It's not that one. [sp]It's the one in the Pillar of Autumn's Pelican bay where you can push right on the right analog stick and the camera will pan to show a cryo tube with Chief in it.[/sp]
I've been having such a bullshit luck lately, loosing 9/10 games due to retarded team mates, lag and for some reason the opposing team always being very highly ranked. Lost the will to play at all.
appearantly my upstream bandwith is up to WARNING now what the fukkkkkkk
Mine is WARNING too.
Anyone else getting sick of the DMR being in every playlist ever? It's just as bad as the Battle Rifle in Halo 3.
Hey, I'm sure people have asked this, but I've been avoiding this thread for a week or two. I just beat the game and was confused at the ending..obvious spoilers. The Pillar of Autumn, as far as I know, didn't land on Reach during "The Fall of Reach" novel. There was a gap where Master Chief was on the space dock trying to destroy the NAV data, where the Pillar of Autumn (I assumed) was in space waiting/defending Reach. Is this when the ship landed on Reach and when Nobel Six hands over the important data? And if so, did the Pillar of Autumn land only to pick the data up, or did it have to refuel or something? I thought Master Chief was only gone for maybe an hour or two, so that's a pretty short time to land on the planet and return in time to pick John up. And is it mentioned anywhere as to what exactly the data was that Dr. Halsey gave to Nobel Six? I haven't read Ghosts of Onyx so I'm not certain if it was revealed there or not? Looking back at the game, I'm surprised they didn't try and mention more from the Fall of Reach novel. Such as the giant ass space battle that happened at the beginning of the battle (in the novel), the one that Keyes misses out on because the Pillar of Autumn was on route to jump from the system. It would've been awesome if when you flew up into space as Nobel Six, you saw the remains of all the ships that were involved in that battle. Or if you could see it from the ground when you first start the game. I was pretty surprised at how the covenant sort of just "appeared" on Reach too. I thought for the beginning of the game, there would've been a huge cutscene showing the covenant jumping into system and invading the planet, which would be where Nobel Team jumps in. It was still the best campaign yet, by far, but I guess I shouldn't have gone in with expectations like that. Jorge's death gave me goosebumps, he was my favorite Spartan, I was pretty happy at how he went out. The others sort of felt like they died for the sake of dying. And what ever happened to Jun?
I have friends at school who think that: Forge > Garry's Mod Do you agree with this? I personally don't, but yeh...
I have friends at school who think that: Forge > Garry's Mod Do you agree with this? I personally don't, but yeh...
They're not nearly as similar as people say they are, but I enjoy both.
http://www.bungie.net/stats/reach/playergamehistory.aspx?vc=0&player=Shawn%20Caution&page=1 its funny because becauses hes bitching about how bungie left out the higher ranks They left out the higher ranks so farmers couldn't rank up to the max so soon.

And what ever happened to Jun?
game Canon doesn't necessarily follow the novel canon and the data Halsey gave noble 6 is part of [sp]Cortana, specifically her translation matrix, according to the Journal that comes with the Limited edition, Halsey needed Cortana to go with Chief, but she also needed her to help translate the Forerunner artifacts, so they devised a way to split her up. Jun went with Halsey, if i remember I think one of the novels mentions they found Halsey with a dead Spartan, so it could be him[/sp]
I've just seen a captain grade 3.... NOLYFE 4 EVUR
what if you're playing with your real life friends? Do you still not have a life?
what if you're playing with your real life friends? Do you still not have a life?
No because you never see them
