It is actually quite fun if you get in the right game, I can spend about a hour on Crossroads and longer if the people aren't "LOL NOOB" spitting kids.

I have about 75-80% of the map completed, and I'm up for suggestions as to what to build in the empty corner. Also, I'll be changing the colour palette later, those colours are placeholders for the most part.

A large, destroyable pair of towers (connected by a bridge), or a mountain with caves.

Already got the mountain with caves, though I could do with making it a little more "mountainous".

It does when you use a web browser, I'm pretty sure.

You have to use Internet Explorer I think, but you can use the IEtab add-on for chrome or Firefox.

Start > All Programs > ROBLOX > Roblox Studio

That's the editing client. Use that to start games, or start work on your own map. That will start in a window, it operates similarly to Microsoft Office.

Custom weapons must not be overpowered and not be in the starting pack, but more of a secret.

WASD vehicles are aloud, but make sure you have enough space to drive them comfortably.

You can start it in Play roblox, it's something that installs with Roblox Studio.

Due to the way the game launches no, you can't launch it from Firefox or anything other than IE. Once you install the game you can launch games from the Studio. Start > All Programs > ROBLOX > Roblox Studio

I use IE tab for chrome, because I like clicking on links and playing from there, but Play Roblox works as well.

Blockland serves a different purpose. Roblox gives you an entire world that is physics based, and those physics are synced between players. So everyone gets to see the pretty house explosion, and get hit by the bricks. With Blockland the bricks have simple physics, but these physics are not synced and the bricks end up disappearing.

Blockland is more construction centered, whereas Roblox is less a game in itself, and is more a game creation engine. Oh yeah, it's good. I'm not quite a fan of the colors although.
It could use some custom weapons are a bit scripting. But I like it!
