Player wipe is done, but judging from the text, we've still go about an hour left. Or course, I could be totally wrong there.
We recently executed the first player wipe in 6 years on our server. The player wipe is FINISHED.
However, we are still doing maintenence and cleaning up filthy text. Please be patient and do not
spam us with login attempts. It will help the process go more smoothly if you limit your attempts to
once every 15 minutes or so.

Hm, if you try to connect with a random user name and pass, it now says it doesn't exist, but when you try to connect with a valid one, it gives the maintenance message.

Have you read the thread, steel? Revive costs are gone, everything is gone! There has been a complete player wipe. That means your items, EVERYTHING. EVERYONE WILL BE THE SAME AS YOU ARE.

Well, I kinda just told you. Aliens blew up the earth, they wiped all players, so everything is gone. They are now doing maintenance and are presumably starting back shortly.
