I'm not buying it. It doesn't make sense for Valve to make a release date of 2010, push it back to early 2011 and then not tell anyone that they're pushing it back forward to christmas 2010 to be bundled with Episode 3, a game they've not so much as talked about for 3 years(?) now. Trust me, I'd love to be proved wrong and I hope I am wrong, but it just doesn't seem plausible to me.

Actually, ValvE is broken up into teams,
such as the TF2 team, L4D team, HL2 team, and Portal team.
They could be working on both right now for all we know.
But there's a high probability that once Portal 2 is released HL2:EP3 will be sped up in terms of development.
