I like it, the white on the glass has never really been an issue for me and i assumed cobble was supposed to be ugly. If it looked good there would be no reason to turn it back into smooth. Lightstone sucks though, he needs to fix that.

Quandary is pretty nice, I just modified the standard texture pack with it's cobble/moss-stone/lava.
I generally don't like any kind of custom skins or textures, so I would say no.
Though I just made my own terrain.png that makes clay bright red and smooth stone slightly transparent. :v:

It really isn't very good looking in real life either, but the texture is poorly made. I wish there was an option to make stone bricks.

lightstone doesnt suck unless your building creative.
I think the default is fine the way it is. After play with default for while, everything else that i tried for texture packs really looks terrible.
Ex : 'real life' HD texture packs are just nono it seems to ruin minecraft for me.
I think that Notch has stated that he's a fan of texture packs because he's aware that he didn't do an exceptional job with the default textures. The default pack is fine, but I much prefer packs like Doku's, Eld's, and Jolicraft.

Haha, thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You can easily get it from the game files and also, the one he uploaded is changed from the original so I don't see the problem here.

That actually looks decent, though (personal preferance), the glass should be a bit brighter.

I think Dokucraft looks a lot nicer than the default texture pack by a longshot.
I've made some tweaking on the wool texture, but other then that I use normal textures.
I really like the default texture pack, personally. There's just something about it that feels right; using other texture packs feel weird to me for some reason.
I'm a vanillafag, maybe that's why.
Default isn't terrible, I like most of it just I really don't like the texture for glowstone, gravel, chests, and cobblestone.
Minecraft's default looks good, except for the cobblestone, but when you try a really good texture pack like JohnSmith, it puts the default to shame.

I'll make you guys one, but do you want bricks? I'll make brick cobble, and glass with just a border.
I don't like brick cobblestone. It just doesn't seem right that you destroy some stone and it falls into perfectly arranged bricks rather than crude stones like the default texture.
I have yet to find a texture pack I can use for more than a few days without switching back to the default.
Okay, I've got my pack, it's just glass with border and brick cobble, its my first ever time toying with Pixel art.
So, give feedback please.

I like the original pack, but like everyone else said, the cobblestone is pretty bad and glass is kind of bland. I use other pack 80% of the time though.
I prefer the original pack a lot more than all the skinpacks, but like most people here the only things I wish would be changed is the cobblestone and the glass.
