Okay. Will torches be replaced with lanterns? I have a castle with torches and dont want the new monsters in. :ohdear:

If the lanterns are something simple like a piece of redstone with glass on the top and bottom I'll be fine with it. (And if existing torches get grandfathered to lanterns)

The simple fact that Notch equated the new Hell area to The Ways from [I]Wheel of Time[/I] has made me want it even more. Hallowe'en can't come fast enough.
