Hey has anybody been having any problems with their saves when they can't plant trees or build certain things like fences past a specific point?

I AM PISSED THE FUCK OFF I had a house in a town on the Hangover server, someone broke into my store, stole the 35+ stacks of smoothstone I had in my chests, and replaced it with cobble and dirt. FUCK YOU TOO

So Notch said that he would automatically switch the torches laid down with the permanent ones right? So all you have to do is place as many as you can down. Every block you see should have a torch. besides it's a great way to keep the creepers away.

Not sure if he will do that tho.

Biomes should have a texture system like valve's mix textures where you can transition from one texture to another smoothly, that will make the transition between biomes smooth.
